SLASH, MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS together with BIFFY CLYRO performed an intimate show for fans at a club in Glasgow, Scotland ahead of the 2014 MTV EMA, one of the greatest music events of the year. The exlusive concert was filmed by MTV.
As reported before, Slash will get the prestigious Les Paul Award during the NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards on Saturday, January 24 in Anaheim, California.
The Les Paul Award got it's name from the musician Lester William Polsfuss, also known as Les Paul, who pioneered the solid-body electric guitar, and different guitar effects which helped to develop the heavy sound of rock and roll. Previous awrad winners include Todd Rundgren, Peter Gabriel and Neil Young. The comedian Sinbad will be the host of the show.
The NAMM Awards were created to honor people and companies for their brilliance in audio technology and production.
Slash current projects is known as SLASH FEAT. MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS. In September 2014, the band released "World On Fire", which was Slash's third album in a row to get in the Top 10. The title track hit number one on the radio.
