Zakk Wylde On The Chances Of A Pantera Reunion

Every former band member seems to be up for it, except for Vinne Paul, who really does not want to take part in any plans for a possible reunion. There are really only few people who could fill in for Dimebag in case of a reunion gig or even tour. Fans would not accept anyone but Dime's good friend Zakk Wylde or maybe Kerry King from Slayer.
During an interview in a radio show Zakk Wylde, who has recently toured with Phil Anselmo's band –Down-, said that he loves playing with Anselmo, especially when they play Pantera songs. He continued by saying that he would be honoured to play tribute to such a great band and to Dimebag as well.
Fans have asked Zakk Wylde about the possibility of a tour, and he has always answered in a very positive and enthusiastic way, and that if he was asked to do it, he would be absolutely happy to do it.

Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown also seem very excited about the idea of playing together again, and so are the fans. Vinnie Paul, however does not seem to share the same feeling, and does not want to play with his former band members ever again. He recently claimed that there is no hatred between him and the members of his former band, he just simply has no interest in reliving the old glory days.

Will Marty Friedman Return To Megadeth?

The lineup that most Megadeth fans loved was the lineup of Mustaine, Ellefson, guitarist Marty Friedman and drummer Nick Menza. They all seemed to be open to the possibility of getting together again and make millions of fans happy, however things are not that simple and fans will most likely never see this line up together on stage.
When Marty Friedman was asked if he would think about a possible return to Megadeth, he said that he did not have a clear answer for it, and ended it with a vague “never say never” phrase. Nick Menza said he is open to the possibility of a come back, however he also added that he would never work again with Friedman
This might leave room for possibilities, even a possible return. However Friedman has his own bands, why would he possibly go back to Megadeth when everything (and his bands) are doing so well? His band is doing very well in Japan, and metalheads from the land of the rising sun absolutely love him, why would he leave that?
Also, other band members might not even want him back. Mustaine could easily find someone just as good to replace him, in no time he says. In fact Mustaine said that he doesn’t want to collaborate with him ever again..

Even though Friedman said never say never to possibilities, at the moment he is certainly not returning to Megadeth

Sources close to Perla say that she has already hired people to figure out how much money Slash made during the time they were married. She believes the legendary guitar player has made tens of millions of dollars since 2001 and she's entitled to 50%.

Rex Brown: " If Dimebag was still around Pantera would still be around"

Rex Brown is now working hard with his current band Kill Devil Hill, but people will always know him as the bass player of Pantera. In a fresh interview, Brown says that every band these days wants to be Pantera and he thinks the legendary heavy metal band would still be playing together if guitarist Dimebag Darrell was alive.
Brown tells Some facts, “Every band out there wants to be Pantera, I’ll just put it that way. I’m not patting myself on the back when I say that; it’s just a fact. They’re trying to get the riffs and they’ll never get it. They’ll never get it. It takes the four of us. Special.”
Brown continues, “I mean, you can’t just throw three of the original guys out of Slayer and then expect it to sound like Slayer, it’s just not going to work. Just one of them things, man. You run across that once in a lifetime and you just fight for it, and that’s what we really did with Pantera. But it was all about making the right song you know. It was all about that melody, that ‘catch’ that could suck people in.”
Brown says most of Pantera’s legendary riffs came out of collaborations between himself and Dimebag Darrell. “Me and Dime worked on a lot of those riffs together. “He’d have this little riff part and I could come in with a different little section at the end of it, that’s what made the riffs on the records. Any guitar player in a band is going to come up with the most of the stuff a lot of times. We were four very different individuals in Pantera, and it really took the four of us to make what I called the ‘magic in a box.’”
The bass player continues, “The whole plan was really just to take a break and then we all reconvene, but it just didn’t turn out that way. I’m sure if Dime was still around Pantera would still be around as a band. But as it turns out, he’s no longer with us, which really sucks. We got robbed by some f---in’ lunatic. It is what it is, and it’s a hell of a ride.”

The final time Tom Araya and Slayer had been playing in Houston in summer time 2012 around the Mayhem Tour, he was wearing a waist-support to help hold up his bass guitar. He was nonetheless working his way back from neck surgery to repair a pinched nerve at that point. Doctors told him that it was his own deal to heal. He healed and was back on stage three months post-surgery touring with Motorhead, Slipknot and Anthrax.

"If everyone says metal does not take a physical toll, properly, my skeletal structure would beg to differ," Araya says. "I do not head bang like I used to. It's taken a toll on my neck," he says. Araya just isn't the only pioneering metal artist to possess wellness issues. Araya says Metallica's James Hetfield had surgery because of a similar injury.

Metallica's Guinness World Record

In the last thirty years, Metallica have played up their road-dog position by supplying their crazy tour names like ""Nowhere Else To Roam Tour" along with the "Poor Touring Me," nevertheless it appears someone has actually been keppeing track of their cartography. Guinness Record Book lately awarded the group with a plaque for remaining the very first and only band to tour all seven continents, an accomplishment they made real when they did a concert in Antarctica. The group will even be honored during the 60th anniversary edition of Guinness Environment Records 2015, which arrives out September 10th.

"Seven continents in a single calendar year with Antarctica currently being the gig of the lifetime...." James Hetfield stated inside a assertion. "Yes, one hundred twenty researchers and competition winners. As well as the three hundred really curious penguins!"

This calendar year, Metallica performed gigs equally in North and South America and Europe and at the moment don't have any tour dates prepared for that remainder of the year. Instead, they're focusing on writing the follow-up for their 2008 album Death Magnetic. They previewed the forthcoming album on their own tour this year with a new song titled "Lords of Summer," which they performed all through their multi-continental Metallica by Request tour. In April, Lars Ulrich estimated that the band was in the ending of their building of the new album.
